A wedding surprise, not a wedding band
This is not evening entertainment booked to fill a dance floor. A wedding singing telegram is a single, carefully-timed surprise: one performer, the right song, and a room that has no idea it is coming.
It might be a gift from the couple to their guests, from a best man to the groom, from parents to their daughter, or from one partner to the other as a private thank you halfway through the day.
Timed around your schedule
Weddings run to a tight timetable, so we work backwards from it. Sean will ask for your running order and agree an arrival and performance slot that will not collide with photographs, speeches or service.
Song choice is yours: the couple's first-dance song, the track that was playing when they met, or something deliberately unexpected. You can listen to recordings and view the performers before booking.
We handle the venue
Please do not ring the venue yourself. A surprise explained badly by a well-meaning family member is the easiest way to get a no. We speak to coordinators and duty managers directly, explain exactly what is involved and confirm access, timing and sound.

When in the wedding day does the surprise happen?

The most popular moments are during the drinks reception, between courses of the wedding breakfast, or at the end of the speeches. We plan the timing with you and, where appropriate, with the venue coordinator or toastmaster.
Can the singer pose as a waiter or guest?

Yes, and it is one of the most effective ways to do it. With the venue's agreement the singer blends in with staff or guests until the first line of the song, at which point the room realises what is happening.
Do you bring your own sound equipment?

We can bring professional backing tracks, microphone and amplification where needed, or perform unamplified in smaller rooms. We agree this in advance depending on the venue.
Should we tell the wedding venue?

Leave that to us. We approach venues and coordinators professionally every week and know how to present the surprise so it is agreed without complications.
